This Refund Policy explains circumstances under which refunds may be issued for WithExpert.tech services.

In simple terms: We want you satisfied with our work. If there is a problem, we will work to fix it. Refunds are handled case-by-case based on circumstances.

2. Refund Eligibility by Service Type

SEO services

Monthly retainers:

  • No refunds for the current month (services already rendered)
  • Cancel anytime with 30 days notice
  • No penalty for cancellation

One-time SEO audits:

  • No refunds once audits are delivered
  • If we fail to deliver, you are eligible for a full refund
  • If delivered incomplete, refunds may be prorated

SEO campaigns (3–6 month commitments):

  • Refunds may be prorated for work completed
  • If we do not follow the agreed strategy, you may be eligible for a refund
  • No refunds based solely on ranking results

Why SEO refunds are limited:

  • Results often take 3–6 months to evaluate
  • Many factors outside our control impact outcomes
  • Work performed cannot be returned once completed

Web development

Website development:

  • Refunds may be prorated by milestone
  • If a milestone does not meet acceptance criteria, you may be eligible for a refund
  • After final payment and launch, no refunds are issued

Refund structure:

  • Planning phase (typically 30%): refundable if we do not deliver a plan
  • Development phase (typically 40%): prorated based on completion
  • Final phase (typically 30%): no refunds after launch

Why limited after launch:

  • Code and configuration cannot be taken back once deployed
  • You have already received value through a working website
  • Ongoing maintenance and updates are available separately

Design services

UI/UX design:

  • Refunds may be considered after two revision rounds
  • If designs do not match approved wireframes, you may be eligible for a refund
  • Subjective dissatisfaction alone is not grounds for a refund

Refund structure:

  • Research phase: refundable if not delivered
  • Design phase: prorated based on deliverables accepted
  • After final approval: no refunds

Why revision limits exist:

  • Prevents scope creep
  • Accounts for subjective nature of design
  • Ensures projects can be completed on schedule

Copywriting

Website copy and other writing:

  • Refunds may be prorated based on pages completed
  • If copy does not match the agreed voice or tone, you may be eligible for revisions or a refund
  • If copy fails to address agreed objectives, we will work with you to correct it or consider partial refunds

3. Refund Request Process

Step 1: Contact us

To request a refund, email us with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your project name, date, a description of issues or concerns, desired resolution, and any supporting documentation.

Step 2: Issue review

  • We review your request within 5 business days
  • We may request additional information
  • We may offer alternatives such as fixes, revisions, or credits

Step 3: Resolution

  • Additional revisions (if within scope)
  • Partial refund (prorated for work completed)
  • Full refund (if we significantly breached contract)
  • Service credit for future projects
  • Alternative agreed solution

Step 4: Refund processing

  • If approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Banks and payment providers may take an additional 5–10 business days to post funds

Timeframe for requests:

  • Requests should be made within 30 days of project completion
  • After 30 days, requests are reviewed case-by-case
  • After 90 days, refunds are generally not issued

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:

Third-party costs:

  • Stock photos and premium fonts
  • Hosting fees and domain registrations
  • SSL certificates and security services
  • Plugin, theme, or API licenses

Completed work:

  • Delivered and accepted milestones
  • Work you have implemented and used
  • Services already rendered

Rush fees and deposits:

  • Rush fees for expedited delivery once work is scheduled
  • Deposits or retainers that hold our schedule and capacity

5. Partial Refunds

When partial refunds are appropriate, they are calculated based on total project cost, work completed, non-refundable expenses, and any applicable cancellation fees.

We provide a clear breakdown of calculations and are open to reasonable discussion if you have questions.

6. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the situation directly.

If a chargeback is initiated without prior communication, we will provide evidence of work completed and may close your account or decline future work. Illegitimate chargebacks may lead to legal action to recover costs.
